1. Product Application
GW9 outdoor AC high voltage disconnecting switch is an outdoor device for AC 50Hz, used in 10kV power supply networks for switching high voltage lines under voltage and no-load conditions, and for electrical isolation of high voltage busbars, circuit breakers and other electrical equipment under maintenance from live high voltage lines. It can also be used for making and breaking very small capacitance and inductance currents.
GW9 outdoor AC high voltage disconnecting switch is used as single-phase in three-phase line systems, with simple structure, economical and convenient to use. Rated currents of the disconnecting switch include: 200A, 400A, 600A and 1250A. GW9-15kV/630A Outdoor High Voltage Disconnecting Switch has rated voltage 15kV, adopts large creepage distance insulators to meet polluted environment requirements, suitable for 15kV outdoor distribution lines and transformer platform isolation maintenance.
GW9 outdoor AC high voltage disconnecting switch is operated with an insulating hook stick, and the blade has a self-locking device when closed.
This product is available in standard type and anti-pollution type.

4. Usage Instructions
1. Before commissioning, conduct a comprehensive inspection. Only after confirming everything is correct can it be put into operation.
(1) Check whether all dimensions of the disconnecting switch meet requirements.
(2) All connection bolts should be securely tightened, especially busbar connections.
(3) All contact points on the contacts should be in full contact.
(4) After commissioning, pay attention to the following:
(5) The disconnecting switch should generally only be opened or closed after the line load has been removed. The disconnecting switch must be regularly maintained and periodically inspected. During maintenance, pay attention to the following:
(1) Whether the disconnecting switch porcelain insulators are damaged and whether the cementing is loose.
(2) When the disconnecting switch is in the closed position, whether all contact points are in good contact; whether the contact springs are deformed and whether the tension has changed, and measure the circuit resistance.
(3) Whether the earthing condition is good.
(4) Whether all rotating parts operate flexibly without jamming.
(5) Apply paint to painted parts once a year.
(6) Please notify the factory of any problems found during operation or maintenance.

The disconnecting switch is supplied as a group of three single poles, together with product certificate, installation and operation manual, etc.

2. When the disconnecting switch is in the closed position, all contact points should be in full contact. After unpacking, immediately check whether the product matches the order and whether the technical documents are complete.
3. Before installation, carefully wipe off dust from the switch, check contact surfaces and terminals, and apply a layer of industrial Vaseline.
4. During installation, clean the earthing points, apply industrial Vaseline, and properly ground with earthing screws.
