Overview

GW1 outdoor high voltage disconnecting switch (hereinafter referred to as disconnecting switch) is suitable for installation on outdoor 12kV lines for making and breaking circuits with voltage and no load. GW1-12DW/630A Outdoor High Voltage Disconnecting Switch adopts single-column vertical opening/closing structure with built-in earthing blade, operated by manual operating rod, and is the standard isolation configuration for 10kV overhead line maintenance.

This disconnecting switch fully considers different user needs and is available in two types: with earthing blade and without earthing blade. The switch with earthing blade is equipped with CS□ manual mechanism, which can prevent misoperations such as closing earthing switch with live line and closing disconnecting switch with earthing wire connected, and operators do not need to separately connect earthing wires. This disconnecting switch is available in standard type and anti-pollution type. The anti-pollution type can meet the requirements of severe pollution areas and effectively solve the pollution flashover problem during operation. The product complies with GB1985 and GB/T11022 standards.

Service Environment Conditions

1. Altitude not exceeding 1000m;

2. Upper ambient temperature +40degC, lower -25degC;

3. Places without conductive or chemically active gases and vapors;

4. Places without fire, explosion hazards or severe pollution;

5. Places not subject to severe vibration or impact (such as near electric picks or dredgers).

Main Structure Description

The disconnecting switch consists of three single-pole switches. Each single-pole disconnecting switch has the same components, including base, support and operating insulators, front and rear fixed contacts, blade and arcing horns. According to user needs, the type with earthing blade is equipped with CS□ operating mechanism, and the type without earthing blade is equipped with CS8-5 operating mechanism. The product has large isolating gap and simple and reliable operation.

When there is no circuit breaker on the line or the circuit breaker fails, the disconnecting switch is allowed to make and break under the following conditions:

Making and breaking charging current on busbar equipment;

Making and breaking no-load current of power transformers (when the transformer capacity does not exceed 750kVA).
