Overview

GW4-12 (40.5) series outdoor disconnecting switch is suitable for installation in outdoor AC 50Hz power systems with rated voltages of 12kV and 40.5kV respectively, for making and breaking circuits with voltage and no load. GW4-40.5kV/1250A High Voltage Disconnecting Switch (35kV series) adopts double-column horizontal rotary structure with silver-plated contacts, large current carrying capacity, and is the core isolation equipment for 35kV substation incoming and outgoing bays. The product complies with GB1985 and other relevant standards.

Structure and Features

The disconnecting switch consists of base, insulating supports, conductive parts and operating mechanism. Each pole has two supports, each with a conductive blade at the upper end. The contact point of the two blade contacts is at the middle of the two support columns. Bearing sleeves are installed at the lower ends of the supports, allowing the blade to rotate 90deg horizontally driven by the operating mechanism, thereby achieving opening and closing requirements. The disconnecting switch is single-pole type, and can also be connected into a three-pole linked type through connecting rods. Equipped with CSII or CS17 manual mechanism for operation. CS17 is used for disconnecting switches with earthing devices. (Electric mechanism can be provided as needed.) From the above structural introduction, it is clear that this disconnecting switch has reasonable structure, flexible operation, can be used as single-pole or three-pole, convenient installation, large blade opening distance, safe and reliable insulation. According to user needs, it can be provided without earthing, with single-side earthing or double-side earthing.
