RN2-10KV Indoor High-voltage Current-limiting Fuse | Dedicated for Voltage Transformer Short-circuit Protection
I. Overview
The RN2 indoor high-voltage current-limiting fuse is used for short-circuit protection of voltage transformers, with a breaking capacity of 1000MVA. During a short circuit, it interrupts the current instantaneously by limiting the line current to its minimum value. The fusing current within 1 minute should be in the range of 0.6~1.8A. As a RN2-10KV indoor high-voltage current-limiting fuse, it is widely used in 3-35kV indoor distribution systems, providing reliable short-circuit protection for voltage transformers.

III. External and Installation Dimensions

Ensure that for the RN2-10KV indoor high-voltage current-limiting fuse, the RN2-10KV current-limiting fuse is used for voltage transformer primary side protection, with a rated breaking current of 50kA. During installation, verify that the fuse link rated current matches the transformer (typically 0.5A). Ensure the holders at both ends of the fuse tube have uniform pressure and reliable contact. It is strictly prohibited to use copper wire or other substitutes for the fuse element.
