HRW10, HRXWO-35KV/0.5A Outdoor High-voltage Current-limiting Fuse | 35kV Transmission Line and Transformer Protection

Product Overview

High-voltage fuses are suitable for short-circuit and overload protection of transmission lines and power transformers. They are simple and reliable devices for protecting power equipment from damage. The HRW10/HRXWO-35KV/0.5A outdoor high-voltage current-limiting fuse, with its excellent current-limiting characteristics and high breaking capacity, is widely used in 35kV power systems.

The HRXWO outdoor high-voltage current-limiting fuse consists of a fuse link, porcelain housing, clamping flange, post insulator, and terminal caps. The terminal caps and fuse link are pressed into the porcelain housing, and the porcelain housing is fixed to the post insulator with the clamping flange.
The fuse link uses materials with high silicon oxide content as the arc extinguishing medium and small-diameter metal wire as the fuse element. When an overload or short-circuit current passes through the fuse link, the fuse element melts immediately, and the arc occurs in several parallel narrow gaps. The metal vapor from the arc penetrates the quartz sand and is vigorously deionized, rapidly extinguishing the arc. Therefore, this fuse has good performance and high breaking capacity.

Installation and Operation

  • The fuse can be installed horizontally or vertically.
  • Do not connect the fuse link to the line if its data does not match the line's operating voltage and rated current.
  • After the fuse link operates, the user can remove the terminal caps and replace the fuse link with one of the same specifications and performance requirements.

Ensure that for the HRW10/HRXWO-35KV/0.5A outdoor high-voltage current-limiting fuse, the HRW10/HRXWO-35KV outdoor current-limiting fuse is suitable for 35kV line and transformer protection. During installation, ensure the fuse tube installation angle is within ±5deg of vertical. The waterproof covers of the upper and lower terminals should be intact. After a fusing operation, check all three phases simultaneously and replace damaged fuse tubes.
