Product Structural Features

The Y5WZ-108/281 110kV porcelain arrester uses high-strength porcelain housing as the insulation shell, with good weather resistance, pollution resistance and aging resistance. High-quality zinc oxide varistor discs are used internally. Utilizing the excellent nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics of zinc oxide, the current through the arrester is only microampere level under normal operating voltage. When overvoltage occurs in the system, the resistance drops sharply, quickly releasing overvoltage energy and effectively protecting power equipment.
