The ZSW-110kv/6 post insulator is an outdoor rod-type porcelain post insulator, suitable for insulation and support of live parts in 110kV substations and switchgear. The insulator porcelain body is of solid construction. The cementing part uses a body sanding structure. The porcelain formulation has excellent performance and has proven to be highly reliable in actual operation. The sand used for sanding is specially processed granulated sand with strict process control, providing good bonding performance with the porcelain body and a suitable coefficient of expansion, effectively improving the mechanical strength of the product. The flange structure is reasonable, with uniform stress distribution under load. The material is high-strength ductile iron with a hot-dip galvanized surface, offering excellent corrosion resistance. The cement used for cementing is high-grade cement, and with a proper curing process, the strength of the porcelain is fully utilized. All voltage class products are single-column type, featuring simple structure, long service life, and low maintenance requirements. To ensure the reliability of the insulators, each product undergoes individual impact testing, ultrasonic inspection, and four-direction bending withstand load testing.

Product Advantages
1. The insulator has excellent anti-pollution performance:
The anti-pollution capability of post insulators mainly depends on the insulator structure and shed profile. China's power design and research departments have done detailed research work in this area. Through design optimization and artificial and natural pollution tests, an insulator shed profile with alternating large and small sheds and ribs under the sheds was finalized. Insulators developed with this shed profile, with rated voltages of 126kV and 252kV, bending failure load not less than 12kV, and specific creepage distance of 25mm/kV, can withstand long-term operating phase voltage under an equivalent salt deposit density of 0.12mg/cm2, meaning insulators with Class 3 creepage distance can withstand Class 4 equivalent salt deposit density pollution. Insulators with a rated voltage of 550kV and specific creepage distance of 25mm/kV can operate long-term under an equivalent salt deposit density of 0.06mg/cm2. The pollution withstand level of the insulators domestically, the equivalent salt deposit density withstand value is one-third higher than similar products with the same creepage distance and equal-diameter sheds. The artificial pollution withstand voltage test results conducted by the Electric Power Research Institute show that the withstand salt density of insulators with a specific creepage distance of 31mm/kV is 0.25mg/cm2.
2. The insulator has good low-temperature mechanical properties.
To test the low-temperature mechanical properties of the product, freezing tests were conducted on post insulators. After several temperature cycles, bending failure tests were performed on the specimens at low temperatures. The test results proved that the bending failure strength of the insulators at -40C shows no significant change compared to room temperature.
